SPECTRUM LOCAL NEWS: Support available for NY parents, caregivers of individuals on autism spectrum

We are talking about the support services available to parents and caregivers of individuals on the autism spectrum, this weekend on In Focus. ARC of Erie County CEO Douglas DiGesare talks with JoDee Kenney about providing assistance on the local level. DiGesare said from pre-school to adulthood, the ARC offers community, housing, recreation, and employment services. Part of the ARC of Erie County’s mission is to educate the community. DiGesare highlighted a transition program for high school and college students on the autism spectrum to provide more career opportunities.
