Day Habilitation Services

Self-Advocacy
Self-Advocacy is a civil rights movement that was created for and by people with disabilities. The goal of self-advocacy is to equip people with knowledge to make informed, authentic decisions, and to empower them to make those decisions. Learn more.

Black Water Acres

Our Services

Employment Services
We offer a full range of employment related services. The people we support have the ability to transition through various employment programs by way of a supportive team.

Community Supports
A variety of services are available to children and adults. Services include a variety of respite programs and individual and family supports. Services could take place in home or in the community.

Clinical Services
We operate three Article 16 Clinics with highly skilled clinicians who work to treat the unique needs of people with developmental disabilities, located in the same buildings as our day programs.

Residential Services
The Arc Erie County operates 27 Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) and supportive apartments throughout the county. Individuals have the opportunity to live with their peers in the least restrictive setting.

Day Services
We provide full day site and community based Day Habilitation programs in Williamsville, Hamburg, and Buffalo. Each site offers a different experience geared towards the people we support.

Self Advocacy
There are a variety of Self Advocacy groups supported by The Arc Erie County. Self Advocates use their skills to achieve the highest levels of independence.
