Meat Raffle A Big Success! Nearly $6,000 Raised for Early Childhood Playground

This past Saturday, more than 340 staff, families, and community members packed the Knights of Columbus in North Tonawanda for a Meat Raffle held to benefit construction of a new playground for our Early Childhood Education School (Green Acres).

During a fun filled night of 11 rounds of raffles, 50/50 drawings, and a grand finale raffle featuring more than 70 packages of meat - $5,869 was raised.

The grand prize drawing of a chest freezer full of meat was won by Amelia Dick, a teacher in our Early Childhood program. Thank you to everyone that attended, donated, bought raffle tickets, and volunteered for this truly incredible event. Special thanks to Carol Murphy who led the effort in partnership with the Knights of Columbus.
